Job Summary The CT Technologist position is based in an outpatient health care provider setting. This role involves providing diagnostic patient care services and performing imaging examinations using computed tomography (CT) modalities. The technologist will operate imaging equipment independently, ensure safety standards, and contribute to department operations to support quality patient care.

Location: Outpatient health care provider setting
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; associate's degree or completion of an accredited 2-year radiologic technology program; certification by the ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in at least one modality; valid state licensure; BCLS certification; 1+ years of experience in radiology with completion of a second modality orientation; proficiency in all related equipment and protocols.
Additional Information: Must demonstrate effective organizational, written, and oral communication skills; ability to troubleshoot and solve problems; excellent customer service skills; ability to work independently; and maintain licensure and continuing education requirements.
Responsibilities include the operation of imaging equipment, performing diagnostic examinations, adhering to safety standards, maintaining quality control, accurately completing documentation, and instructing new staff or students after 1 year of experience.
