Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a teaching hospital setting requiring 1+ year of experience and ARRT/BLS certification.

Details

• Teaching hospital setting including outpatient, inpatient, ER, and pediatric acute care areas
• 3x12 hour day shifts (Fri, Sat, Sun) from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a set schedule
• Holiday coverage required if holidays fall on scheduled shift days
• May be required to float to different units within the organization as needed
• Uses Siemens CT scanner and PACS system
• Performs CT studies of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal system
• Special procedures may include biopsies, aspirations, drainage, myelography, CT arthrography, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and transplant studies

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required; community hospital experience preferred
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• OH state license required if applicable
• Experience with IV starts and contrast media preparation/administration required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Experience in adult acute care, outpatient, and ER settings required; pediatric acute care experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsible for performing CT imaging procedures across multiple patient populations and care settings
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference; coworker references not accepted
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract due to strict credentialing timelines
• Former employees eligible for rehire as travelers after 6 months away from the facility
• Current employees are ineligible for travel assignments at this facility
• Locals accepted at the same pay rate
• RTO must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this assignment
