Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is needed in the Florida region. This position involves operating CT imaging equipment, performing diagnostic scans, and providing high-quality imaging services under departmental protocols. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of supporting inpatient and outpatient diagnostics with proficiency in routine CT procedures.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift with minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Computed Tomography (CT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, Florida Radiologic Technologist license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 0 years of experience. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) school and licensed by the state as general radiographers.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Toshiba / Canon Aquilion CT equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Responsibilities: Performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographs, C-arm procedures, and operating room imaging services. Demonstrating proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning, including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures. Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical and sterile procedures, and studies with or without contrast media is essential.
  • Additional Information: The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering timely diagnostic services, adhering to departmental protocols, and demonstrating proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging procedures. The position is classified as vacant due to internal staffing needs.
