Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Roanoke, Virginia.

CT Technologist

Scheduling Details

  • Shift hours: 3x12s, Wednesday-Friday (3p-3a). Start times may vary +/- 2 hours based on unit needs.
  • On-call requirement: None
  • Requests for time off must be included with submission.
  • Facility policy allows cancellation of 1 shift every 2 weeks.
  • Holiday work is required based on unit needs.
  • First-time travelers are not accepted.
  • Local candidates are not accepted due to radius rule criteria.

Required Licenses & Certifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - CT certification
  • A Virginia state license is required. Active state licenses are accepted; Virginia offers emergency authorization for travelers while permanent licenses are processed.

Required Clinical Skills

  • Preparation and administration of contrast media
  • Radiation safety

Unit Details

  • Travelers may be required to float to other locations within the region.

  • The facility is an acute care teaching hospital featuring over 700 licensed beds.
  • It is designated as a Level I Trauma Center and recognized as a certified stroke center.
