Job Summary The organization is seeking a CT Technologist in the CT specialty located within Nebraska. This role involves performing quality computed tomography (CT) exams, including neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and interventional procedures, in a Level I trauma center. The position requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle all procedures offered by the department in a fast-paced setting.
Job Details
Certifications, Education, and Experience: ARRT(CT)(R) and AHA BLS certifications are required. A Nebraska Medical Radiographer License and Level I trauma experience are mandatory. The candidate should have completed a minimum of 12 hours of non-billable orientation.
Schedule: Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities: Perform all procedures, ensure quality scans in accordance with benchmarks, maintain departmental stock levels, and assist in QA processes. Operate GE equipment including 8 CT scanners, and work within EPIC EMR and Mckesson PACS systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE equipment is preferred.
Additional Information: Will be floating within the CT department across multiple locations within the same management structure. Orientation lasts six weeks, including department-specific training and midpoint evaluations. The candidate must be proficient with basic computer navigation, communication, and multitasking skills.
