Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities will include working closely with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Position Information

• Department: CT Scan
• Shift: Variable (4x9s or 3x12s)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: As needed
• Call Requirements: Occasional standby requirements
• Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Certification, Maine License
• Years of Experience: 1-2 years
• Float Requirements: None

Unit Information

• Patient Ratios: 74 Daily Caseload
• Equipment: GE systems
• EHR: Epic

Skills and Experience

• Must Have Skills/Experience:
  • Inpatient, Emergency Room, Community Hospital experience
  • Adult ICU, IV Starts, Contrast administration
  • CT imaging for Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal issues
  • Aspirations/Biopsies, CT Angiography, Multiplanar Reconstruction
• Preferred Skillset/Experience:
  • Outpatient experience
  • PACS knowledge
  • CT Arthrography, Drainage, Myelography
  • Familiarity with Epic and GE Optima 660
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment:
  • General CT (Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, head, extremities)
  • Cancer, Trauma, Pulmonary Embolism, Stroke, etc.
