This position offers three 12-hour shifts per week, working from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends.
Job Description
The CT Technologist will perform various imaging procedures, including CT and X-ray for emergency and inpatient departments. The role involves working independently to ensure high-quality patient care and effective imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging studies on the head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.
- Start IVs as required for imaging procedures.
- Utilize Merge RIS/PACS for documentation and imaging review.
- Collaborate with radiologists for preliminary and final readings of imaging studies.
- Assist with any float duties to cover X-ray as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active BLS certification (AHA).
- Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT).
- Experience in performing various CT examinations and ability to start IVs.
- Experience with run-off studies is preferred.
