Job Description
The Radiology/CT Technologist performs sophisticated imaging studies at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. This role requires independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis while performing a variety of technical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Enter patient data into Epic and other necessary computer systems.
- Position patients correctly for procedures and obtain appropriate scout films.
- Assist the Interventional radiologist with sterile equipment as needed.
- Monitor exposure factors and ensure adherence to imaging workflow in PACS.
- Confirm vascular access and inject contrast according to protocol.
- Conduct pre-procedural screening and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- NYS License required
- ARRT certification in CT and MRI
- NYS DOH certification in Radiology Technologist
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- BLS certification
- NYS DOH Injection Contrast certification
- Multilingualism is a plus

This is a 13-week contract position.
