Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring hands-on experience with the GE EVO CT unit and current ARRT certification.

Details

• CT Scan unit within a hospital setting
• Alt specialty coverage includes Diagnostic Imaging (X-ray)
• Night shift schedule Friday-Sunday, 8:00 PM-8:30 AM
• Must have experience operating the GE EVO CT unit
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Cares for patients ranging from adolescents through geriatric populations

Requirements

• ARRT R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) certification required
• Radiologic Technologist license required in state of practice (required in CA)
• Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
• BLS certification required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS)
• Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA and OR
• Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in CT within the last 3 months
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs a variety of imaging procedures including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of CT equipment and manages supply inventory
• Adheres to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
