Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is needed for a healthcare provider in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves performing high-quality CT scans while adhering to established protocols, maintaining patient safety and comfort, and ensuring optimal operation of CT equipment during night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, Sunday through Wednesday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED, completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a school of radiography or college-based radiography program; Certification and licensure including ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification, ARRT CT certification, New Jersey State X-Ray license, and BLS certification; 0 years of experience required
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The technologist will perform patient care, including preparing supplies, verifying patient identity, and ensuring safety during contrast injections. They will maintain sterile fields, assist with emergency responses, document procedures accurately, and ensure equipment readiness and cleanliness. Responsibilities also include managing inventory, adhering to QA/QC standards, and communicating effectively with all departments to coordinate patient flow and emergent procedures. The technologist will notify radiologists of any unusual findings and follow established evacuation and safety protocols during emergency cases.
