**Join Our Dynamic Team as a CT Technologist!**
**Job Description**
- Utilize cutting-edge computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce detailed cross-sectional images for accurate medical diagnosis.
- Interpret physician scanning instructions with precision and administer contrast materials safely.
- Prepare and operate CT scan equipment while ensuring optimal patient positioning for high-quality imaging.
- Engage with patients and colleagues in a friendly, courteous, and respectful manner.
- Advocate for patients' privacy and confidentiality while maintaining a safe and clean hospital environment.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations, ensuring the highest level of physical comfort for patients.
- Comply with regulations to maintain accreditation and licensure, and adhere to hospital attendance policies.
- Actively contribute to hand hygiene practices and incident reporting for continuous safety improvements.
- Ensure all CT images meet the highest diagnostic quality standards for accurate radiologist interpretation.
- Follow pre-established criteria for image assessment and ensure all necessary information is accurately included.
- Operate diagnostic Cat Scan processing and printing equipment to deliver quality final images in a timely manner.
- Assess patients thoroughly for exposure techniques, taking appropriate precautions for women of childbearing age.
- Cross-check physician orders to guarantee the accuracy of the examination based on clinical history.
- Complete patient orders and charges, entering data accurately into the Meditech Computer System.
- Coordinate daily schedules, ensuring timely completion of exams while maintaining a smooth patient flow.
- Provide a safe environment by minimizing risks associated with falls and other potential hazards.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of older patients, accommodating their specific challenges with care.
- Take necessary actions to assure the physical security of children and comply with safety policies.
- Prepare to perform additional job-related duties as assigned, going above and beyond to support the team.
**Functional Demands**
- Exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently.
- Engage in frequent reaching, handling, and occasional stooping or crouching.
**Organizational Expectations**

- Demonstrate strong customer service orientation, interpersonal effectiveness, teamwork, and an eagerness to seek information.
**Job Requirements**
- Minimum Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum Work Experience: 1 year of CT experience preferred.
- Required Licenses: MA DPH Radiology License required; ARRT(R) mandatory; ARRT(CT) preferred (to be obtained within two years of hire).
- Skills: Quality-conscious, dependable, organized, with excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
