Job Summary:
The radiologic technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) at a healthcare facility in Los Angeles will operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues vital for medical diagnosis. The role includes performing additional imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy, contributing to accurate and efficient patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift; hours are either morning or evening, Friday through Tuesday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice; advanced certification in CT (required in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment); venipuncture certification (required in California if performing venipuncture for contrast administration).
• Additional Information: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care for individuals ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologists, using PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer. Maintains accurate records and ensures the integrity of patient data in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations. Performs routine equipment maintenance and manages supply inventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
