Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work the night shift, providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Responsibilities
Perform computed tomography (CT) scans according to established protocols.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices in radiologic technology.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
Administer contrast materials via venipuncture as required.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) is required.
Possession of a valid Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice (California).
Advanced Certification in the modality of CT is required in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
Fluoroscopy license in California is required if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
Venipuncture certification is required if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials in California.
Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification is required.
Work Schedule
This position involves working the night shift from 11 PM to 7 AM.
