Job Details:

• Travel experience is required for this position
• On-call required: one week of standby call per contract
• Weekends are not required
• Block schedules are not required
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Position does not float between units
• Orientation hours: 80 hours
• Must be competent with GE 64 slice scanners (hard stop requirement)
• Epic charting experience required (hard stop)
• Minimum Level 3 trauma facility experience required
• Hospital experience in an acute care facility required (hard stop)
• Direct patient care within the last year required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Scrub color: any color permitted
• Parking is available at no cost
• A personal vehicle is required for this assignment
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS, Oregon State OBMI
• Required skills include: 3D rendering (maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, volume rendering), abdomen without and/or with contrast, adult acute care, chest without and/or with contrast, CT arthrography, brain perfusion, carotid, cervical, emergency department, head without and/or with contrast, heart (calcium scoring, coronary angiography), isolation precautions/PPE, lumbar, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), musculoskeletal trauma, myelography, PACS, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, region of interest measurement (ROI), sinuses, soft tissue neck, starting peripheral IVs, thoracic, trauma head, vascular chest (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), vascular CTA, and venipuncture
• Interdisciplinary support available includes IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the submittal process

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates with 418 staffed beds and 450 total beds, providing comprehensive medical services across multiple departments. The facility is a Level 3 trauma center supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, radiology, and more. The organization utilizes Epic as its charting system and maintains high standards for patient care across all units.
