Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift position in California. This role involves operating Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed CT scanners, with a focus on acquiring high-quality imaging for a variety of clinical cases. The candidate will be working with general CT procedures, virtual colonography, gated procedures, and ER patients within an acute care setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 10 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS Certification, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Verification, Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification, Fluoroscopy; also requires a California license, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner and McKesson PACS charting systems.
  • Float: Floor-specific orientation may be required for 3-4 shifts, with potential for float to other areas.
  • Additional Information: Must have CT and X-Ray experience along with required certificates and licenses. The unit notes that evenings are the busiest, with high volume scans depending on the shift, and radiologists are not available 24/7, utilizing Nighthawk for night coverage. The setup includes 2 scanners, Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed, with fluoro ratios of 10-20 scans depending on the shift. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts if the duration is less than 13 weeks.
