Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified CT Technologist in Santa Cruz, California. The role involves providing specialized computed tomography (CT) imaging services in a hospital setting, supporting acute care operations. Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, with 8-hour evening shifts, potentially filling in on nights occasionally; work into rotation
  • Schedule: 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week

  • Location: Santa Cruz, California
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS, Certified CT Technologist (ARRT - CT), Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT - R), Fluoroscopy; CA license; minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed scanners, proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record system and McKesson PACS, and experience in acute care or hospitalist settings.
  • Additional Information: Must have CT and X-ray experience along with required certifications and a California license. The units are equipped with Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed scanners. Responsibilities include performing CT scans, supporting ER patients, virtual colonography, and gated procedures. Floating to different floors may be required with unit-specific orientation. The radiology department operates without a radiologist on-site 24/7, using Nighthawk for night shifts. Cancelling policies allow up to 4 shifts cancellation per 13-week assignment.
  • Float: Floor-specific orientation required over 3-4 shifts.
