Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves performing a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures using specialized radiologic equipment. The selected candidate will work within a Magnet-designated facility ranked as Wisconsins #1 hospital, contributing to a leading teaching institution and referral center. The position is scheduled for dayshift hours, with a focus on patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiography (R), Wisconsin Radiographer license, BLS (American Heart Association). Candidates must be a graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology with 2 years of clinical CT imaging experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a broad range of imaging procedures including contrast studies such as abdomen, head, pelvis, and vascular imaging, trauma center experience, and familiarity with PACS, GE CT, Canon Insight, and Ulrich injector systems.
- Additional Information: The role requires strict adherence to pass/fail testing with specific criteria for telemetry interpretation. A telemetry exam must be passed in two attempts, including identification of lethal rhythms and heart blocks, with an 80% passing score. Orientation hours total 80, and candidates must be willing to float as needed within the organization.
