Anders Group is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in New York, New York.
This position requires the following (and to already be in hand at the time of applying): *NYS License with IV Certification (mandatory) *Experience operating Siemens equipment (required) *Proficiency in performing both CT Scans & X-rays *Traveler must hold both ARRT R & ARRT CT Certifications Qualified candidates must be comfortable working night shifts and possess the necessary credentials and experience to support a low-volume, steady-paced orthopedic imaging setting. ******IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SCHEDULE******: - The normal work schedule is Midnight to 8:30AM (with a 30 minute lunch) for Monday to Friday. - For the first 2 weeks of the assignment, the traveler will report in the day shift for training. Once training is completed, the traveler will work their regular schedule. ************************************************************************ Daily Caseload: Up to 20 patients; however, this number may be even less due to low volume on the shift. The traveler will be working independently due to very low volume on this shift. Patient Age Group: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics Because we are specialty hospital, the caseload will involve Orthopedic exams performed in either in an exam room setting or via portable equipment. The patient population involves adults/pediatrics and inpatients/outpatients. Because the department is subdivided, the candidate may be rotated across multiple departments with the hospital or in our private sector located across the street from the hospital. Work Setting Experience: Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU General Skills Experience: Portables X-ray Procedure Experience: Extremities, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/ Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Lower Extremities, Upper Extremities CT Procedure Experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction Epic Preferred Certifications/Licenses: BLS, ARRT CT & R, DOHNYS, I.V Certification (REQUIRED) Based on the organizational job description for this role, the position requires the ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds, with or without the use of assistive devices.
