Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy imaging procedures with required ARRT registration.

Details

• Performs computed tomography (CT) imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
• Cares for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location
• Day shift options include 7am-5:30pm, 8am-6:30pm, or 9am-7:30pm

Requirements

• ARRT registration as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required
• Advanced certification in CT modality required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in CA
• License required if applicable
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast materials
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred

Additional Information

• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information
• Ensures integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
• All required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction
