CT Technologist – Contract Role

Location: Virginia

Schedule: 36 hours/week (3x12s) – Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (blocked schedule)

Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to support a high-volume imaging department. This role requires strong independence, the ability to work across multiple patient settings, and comfort operating in a fast-paced emergency environment.

• Perform CT scans on inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
• Operate and maintain GE CT imaging equipment
• Ensure accurate imaging while following safety and quality protocols
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to support timely diagnosis

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience preferred
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active Virginia Radiology License required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced ED setting

• No local candidates (must live outside 50-mile radius)
• No EKG testing required
• Strong preference for candidates who can work independently and handle high patient volume

• Fri–Sun blocked schedule offers consistent 3-day work week with full-time hours
• Exposure to inpatient, outpatient, and ER cases – strong variety in patient population
• GE equipment – ideal for candidates already familiar with platform
