Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located in a fast-paced healthcare department specialized in advanced imaging techniques. The role involves performing CT scans, X-ray, and MRI procedures, primarily for adult and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric cases through the emergency room. Candidates will operate Siemens CT scanners and utilize EMR and PACS systems to document and communicate patient data. Flexibility with shifts and the ability to handle a dynamic environment are essential for success in this role.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, with start times varying on a cyclic schedule, totaling approximately 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification, ARRT (CT) certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, and licensure to submit. Candidates must have experience with CT/X-ray procedures and familiarity with Siemens CT scanners.
• Preferred Qualifications: MRI experience is preferred for day shifts; X-ray experience is highly valued.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to cover X-ray during overnight shifts and MRI during daytime shifts.
• Additional Information: This role involves working in a high-volume, fast-paced department that includes performing CT biopsies, drains, aspirations, cryoablations, cervical injections, and stroke angio studies with third-party processing. Candidates should possess excellent patient care skills, be self-motivated, responsible, compassionate, and able to accept challenges. Upon submission, the candidate must provide a driver's license for clearance purposes. RTO preferences are to be specified upfront; additional RTO requests will not be approved. The initial orientation is approximately 3 days.
