Job Summary: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) at a healthcare facility located in the central San Joaquin Valley of California. This role involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. The position also includes performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday; minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); radiologic license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; fluoroscopy license in California; venipuncture certification in California.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Certification in the modality of CT; BLS certification from an approved vendor; experience with EPIC system.
Additional Information: The technologist assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care across all age groups from adolescence through geriatrics. Ensures confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Performs routine maintenance on imaging equipment and manages supply inventory. Adheres to all safety protocols and organizational policies.
