Shift Details

Weekend rotation: Friday to Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This position includes 2 to 3 on-call shifts each month.

General Information

• Level III Trauma Center with 375 licensed beds.
• Covid vaccination is required.

Patient Care

In this role, you will handle various case types, primarily focusing on:

• Day Shift: General, diagnostic, interventional, assisting with procedures, ER, and critical cases.
• Evening/Night Shift: 90% of cases will involve ER and ICU patients.

Cardiac CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a large Level 3+ facility.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification in CT & R is mandatory.
• Washington state licensure necessary.
• Acute care experience is required.

Unit Support

The following support staff will be available in the unit:

• Lead CT Technologist
• Respiratory Therapy Team
• Hospitalist
• Radiologist: On-site during the day, off-site at night, with assistance for cases as needed.
• Respiratory Therapy and transport technicians available.

Technology and Equipment

Technologists will utilize the following equipment:

• Siemens Dual Source CT 128 Flash
• Definition 64 (interventional CT)
• Definition Edge 128 in ER

No prior experience with this specific equipment is required.

Orientation and Scheduling

Orientation will consist of:

• One week in the department; additional time may be provided if necessary.

Shifts available include 8, 10, and 12-hour formats, with night shifts consistently being 12-hour shifts. The manager cannot accommodate variations in shift requests unless alternative shifts are explicitly posted.
