Opportunity:
CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Work 3rd shift with 7 days on, 7 days off rotation starting Thursday through the following Wednesday
• Thursday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday hours: 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work independently in CT department with support of an X-ray technologist onsite
• Transport patients to and from CT examinations
• Operate Canon (Toshiba) 80-slice hospital scanner - 2 years experience required
• Use Medrad Stellant injector - 2 years experience preferred
• Work with Canon/Toshiba 40 & 80 slice scanners
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Serve inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients needing CT services
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT registered)
• Must have EPIC charting system experience
• Perform basic CT principles and practices
• Handle peripheral IV starts with IV contrast injection skills
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
• Complete at least one orientation shift to learn department flow
• Any color scrubs acceptable
Facility:
This medical center is a 74-80 bed facility that serves as a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. The facility provides comprehensive healthcare services with modern CT imaging equipment including Canon/Toshiba scanners. The organization utilizes EPIC charting systems and maintains high standards for patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department services.
