  • Shift: Friday – Sunday 7am – 7:30pm. On Call: 2-3 call shifts a month.
  • Employment Type: Travel Contract (Eligible for Tax- Free Stipends)

     

Job Requirements

  • NY State License (Must obtain PRIOR to starting position)
    • HCP's currently registered in NYS will be required to have injection therapy certification stated on their license at time of submission
  • ARRT
  • BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
  • Two (2) years of CT experience
  • Minimum of 6 months of Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
  • Telemetry experience required

CT Technologist Duties and Responsibilities: ·Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety ·Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. ·Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable. ·Insert IVs when necessary for the test. ·Positions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling. ·Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC to include identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion. ·Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
