Job Summary:
CT Technologist position in a healthcare facility located in the area. The role involves performing a variety of computed tomography (CT) examinations, preparing for trauma and stroke patients, and communicating effectively with emergency department and inpatient staff. The shift is scheduled for nights, ensuring timely and accurate imaging services.
Job Details:
Schedule: 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in computed tomography (CT), BLS (AHA - American Heart Association) certification, 2 years of experience as a CT technologist, familiar with GE and Canon imaging equipment, strong IV and contrast skills, ability to work with trauma and stroke patients, and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems including EPIC and PACS. Licensed in the state of Delaware (can submit application without license and apply upon offer), with no minimum years of experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with emergency department and inpatient imaging, comfortable with a variety of exams.
Additional Information: Local candidates are not accepted due to a 100-mile radius restriction. The client may call off or cancel up to 12 hours per 13-week assignment. Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training. This position involves performing imaging exams efficiently to ensure prompt reads and patient care.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
