Job Title: CT Technologist - MSBI - Contract

Location: New York, NY

Contract Length: Temporary

Job Summary: The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with prescribed protocols. This role involves daily quality control checks, patient preparation, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals. The technologist ensures compliance with radiation safety guidelines and regulatory documentation policies while maintaining patient records and assisting radiologists with film interpretation.

Required Qualifications:

  • New York State License (L.R.T).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and CT.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • At least 1 year of CT experience.
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with quality assurance and safety tests.
  • Familiarity with ALARA principles.

Additional Information:

  • Responsibilities include ordering and verifying radiopharmaceutical doses, performing daily equipment calibration checks, and maintaining patient records.
  • Must exercise appropriate judgment to assess and respond to patient needs during visits.
