Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist in a busy inpatient setting located in Reno, Nevada. The selected candidate will assist in diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care across various patient populations, including neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This role involves working under supervision to produce accurate CT scans, administer IV contrast materials, and collaborate with radiologists to support urgent and routine imaging needs.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 4x10 hours per day with varied daytime hours, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiological Technologists) certification in Radiography and CT, Nevada state license for Medical Radiography, AHA BLS certification obtained within 60 days of hire, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in CT imaging, trauma experience, and travel experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in advanced imaging for trauma, stroke, and acute care settings; proficiency in operating in-house CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment.
  • Additional Information: The position may require floating to different departments or facilities according to organizational needs, including working major holidays and additional shifts as scheduled. The candidate will assist in maintaining quality control and process imaging for emergent procedures involving complex cases such as stroke or trauma. The role demands proficiency in utilizing advanced CT imaging technologies, managing rapid patient throughput, and contributing to strategic departmental planning. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to operate sophisticated imaging systems, provide comprehensive patient assessment and care, and adhere to department policies and procedures.
