**Exciting Opportunity for CT Scan Technologist!** **Job Description:** - Are you passionate about making a difference in patient care? - Join our dynamic team as a CT Scan Technologist, where you will: - Perform complex CT procedures and produce stunning sectional and three-dimensional images. - Utilize your professional judgment in reviewing and obtaining patient clinical histories. - Ensure accurate documentation and scanning into PACS. - Prepare, screen, and review patient contrast questionnaires. - Identify and administer contrast media as prescribed by licensed practitioners. - Collaborate with Radiologists and Referring Physicians to ensure appropriate exam prescriptions. - Verify insurance authorization and coordinate with Finance for any exam modifications. - Schedule and obtain outside studies, ensuring all necessary records are available for Radiologists. - Provide exam copies to patients and healthcare providers as needed. - Evaluate radiographs ensuring diagnostic value and proper identification. - Gather relevant information to prepare scanning protocols tailored to patient needs. - Prepare patients for scanning with appropriate techniques such as shielding and immobilization. - Administer accurate explanations and instructions to patients, addressing their concerns. - Perform venipuncture and monitor patients for any adverse reactions during procedures. - Commit to scheduled shifts, including holidays and weekends, to provide exceptional patient care. - Lift a minimum of 25 lbs, push and pull 50 lbs, and stand for at least 6 hours a day. - Modify care to meet the specific needs of various patient populations. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiological positioning. - Understanding of CT software and hardware functionalities. - Proficiency in PACS system operations. - Commitment to maintaining CEU Credits. **Certifications & Licensure:** - NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License. - ARRT Certified R.T.(R) required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within three months of hire. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
