Job Summary:
The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence while performing various tasks, including obtaining necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies, maintaining sterility of field and instruments, and preparing requisitions. They will communicate effectively with patients and families to alleviate anxiety while maintaining privacy and dignity. Responsibilities also include verifying patient identification, observing patient conditions, ensuring availability of medical records, and initiating emergency responses when necessary. The technologist will maintain adequate supplies, clean equipment, and adhere to room assignments. They will also participate in inventory management, ensure timely coordination of procedures, and maintain workflow efficiency. Additional duties include assessing patient tolerance for contrast, screening for allergies, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to QA/QC requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program
- ARRT RT (R)
- ARRT RT (CT)
- NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License
- BLS Certification
