Job Summary:
The Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation. The role also involves assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care.

Required Qualifications:
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiological positioning of the human body.
• Understanding of mechanical attributes of CT software and hardware.
• Thorough knowledge of PACS system.
• Maintains CEU Credits.
• ARRT (CT) certification within 12 months of hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 3 months of hire.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License.
• ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Six months of CT experience.
• Knowledge of Epic and any HIS/RIS system used by the hospital.
• ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license preferred.

Additional Information:
• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 11 PM - 7 AM (Sunday & Monday OFF).
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs., push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs., and stand for a minimum of 6 hours a day.
• Adherence to organizational competencies and standards of behavior is required.
