Job Summary:
CT Technologist in Staten Island, NY responsible for performing all types of computed tomography examinations including head, pelvis, trauma, specialized cardiac, and CT angiograms within a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role offers exposure to a variety of clinical settings, requiring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, from 11:00:00 PM to 07:00:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) Radiologic Technologist License (R.T. (R) for Radiography, Computed Tomography (CT), and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). NYS Injection and Intravenous (IV) Certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; no minimum required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing a variety of CT exams including cardiac and angiograms.
• Additional Information:
  • Every other weekend work.
  • Scrubs must match top and bottom in any color; patterns are not permitted.
  • No open-toed shoes or excessive jewelry.
  • Long hair must be tied back; beards must be trimmed for fit-testing.
  • No chipped paint on nails.
