Job Requirements

• 2 years of CVICU, ICU, or related critical care nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic required
• Strong background in cardiac monitoring, vasoactive drips, and hemodynamic support
• Comfort managing complex, high-acuity cardiovascular and post-operative cardiac patients
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain excellent teamwork in a busy ICU setting

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized CVICU nursing care for patients with complex cardiac needs
• Monitor and manage arterial lines, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, and IABP support
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips according to patient condition and protocol
• Care for ventilated patients and support ECMO-related care as needed
• Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias to support rapid clinical decision-making
• Maintain strict isolation precautions and promote patient safety at all times
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Document accurately in Epic and communicate effectively during handoff and shift changes
