• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940-$2,040
• Schedule: Weekdays with some weekends; rotating holidays
• Weekend Coverage: Required, with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block
• Start Date: 9/21/2026
• Orientation: 36 hours

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• At least 1 year of CVICU, Cardiac ICU, or Cardiovascular Critical Care experience required; 2 years preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with high-acuity cardiac, vascular, or thoracic ICU patients preferred
• Strong background in ventilator management, telemetry, and invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Comfortable floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Ability to work rotating holidays and weekend shifts
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients with complex diagnoses and post-procedure needs
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced support such as Swan Ganz, IABP, Impella, ECMO, CRRT, and ventilators
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips, vasoactive medications, insulin protocols, sedation, and paralytics as ordered
• Perform and support procedures including arterial line management, central line care, chest tube care, and pacing wire management
• Interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and hemodynamic data while responding to changes in patient condition quickly and effectively
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and support a culture of patient safety and infection prevention
• Float to appropriate units within the organization when needed
