Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with expectations to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality patient care in a mixed ICU setting. The nurse is expected to manage 1-3 ICU patients, providing critical care, administering medications, and performing advanced procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside shift report to ensure effective hand-off of patient care.
• Monitor and manage ventilator-dependent patients and administer respiratory treatments.
• Perform advanced procedures including CRRT, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and phlebotomy.
• Participate in the care of post-operative cardiovascular patients and patients with complex neurological conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 36 months of RN experience, with at least one year in an ICU.
• One previous successful travel nursing assignment, preferably in a facility that used Meditech.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
• Preferred: BSN, advanced certifications, and TNCC certification.
