**Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN - CVICU** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team at a premier medical center in North Charleston, SC! - Work in a 28-bed mixed ICU with patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3. - Expect to care for CVICU patients, including those on ventilators. - Be part of a fast-paced environment utilizing advanced medical technologies. - Participate in bedside shift reports for improved patient experience. - Collaborate with highly skilled RNs in a supportive team atmosphere. **Unit Specifics:** - **General Information:** - Number of Beds: 28 - Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:3 - managing inpatient PCU/med surg admissions - Documentation System: Meditech - **Scheduling Requirements:** - 3 - 12 hour shifts per week - Includes every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees - **Floating Policy:** - Be prepared to float as needed, including to the emergency department or PCU **Qualifications:** - **Minimum Requirements:** - 36 months of RN experience, with at least one year in an ICU - One previous successful travel nursing assignment - Comfort in managing ventilated patients - **Required Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - NIH Stroke Scale - **Preferred Qualifications:** - BSN - Advanced Certifications and TNCC certification - Experience with: - CRRT - Advanced Hemodynamics - Phlebotomy **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Post op day 0 CABG, Impellas, Balloon Pumps, Swan Ganz, Advanced Hemodynamics - Neuro procedures for aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage - EVDs, bolts, (Codman), and Arctic Sun for induced hypothermia **Dress Code:** - Required uniform: Navy scrubs **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
