Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Monitor and manage critically ill patients with cardiac and neurological conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Accurately document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
Float within scope to like units as needed, consistent with expectations for staff nurses
Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license required prior to start date
Minimum of 1 year of CVICU or related critical care nursing experience
Cardiac and neurological nursing experience required
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Must not be a first-time traveler; prior travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

2 or more years of CVICU experience preferred
Experience working in an acute care hospital setting preferred
