Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CVICU Night Shift position requiring fresh heart and CVICU experience with FL or compact licensure.

Details

  • Work in the CVICU unit of a hospital environment
  • Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
  • Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
  • Fresh heart experience required
  • Must score 3's or 4's on the cardiovascular section of the ICU skill list
  • Epic or Cerner charting experience required
  • Nursys report required (pulled within the last 2 weeks)

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular patients in the CVICU
  • RTO limited to no more than 10 days, with none permitted during the first or last week of the assignment
  • Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
  • Candidates with felony, misdemeanor, DUI, DWI, or controlled substance violations will not be considered
