**Join Our Dynamic CVICU Float Pool as a Travel RN!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Asheville, NC - **Unit Name:** CICU - **Building:** J Building - **Cost Center:** 653 - **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM **Why You'll Love This Opportunity:** - Work in a vibrant team of RNs in a 16-bed CVICU - Experience a patient ratio of 2:1 or 1:1 (occasionally 3:1 depending on acuity) - Engage with advanced medical equipment including Ventilators, Telemetry, Baxter IV Pumps, IABP, CRRT, Impella, and Hypothermia systems - Utilize Cerner for efficient documentation **Position Highlights:** - **Scheduling:** - 36 hours per week - Alternating weekends - 12-hour shifts - **Floating Policy:** - Travelers may float to all areas - **Essential Skills Required:** - Titration of Vesicant Medications - Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics - Experience with Ventilators, Trachs, and Telemetry Interpretation - Understanding Hemodynamics and PA Catheter Setup/Interpretation - **Advanced Skills Highly Desirable:** - IABP, Impella, CRRT - **Procedures Performed On Unit:** - Cardioversion, Central line insertion, EGD, Bronchoscopy - Chest Tube insertions, Pericardiocentesis, Thoracentesis - **Certifications:** - None required; CCRN recommended **Dress Code:** - Uniform: All Navy or Navy and White - No pullovers, hoodies, or green scrubs unless uniform is soiled at work **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
