**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in CVICU!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Name:** CICU - **Location:** Asheville, NC - **Shifts:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts - **Schedule Requirements:** 36 hours/week, alternating weekends **Unit Highlights:** - **Patient Ratios:** 2:1 or 1:1 (occasionally 3:1 based on acuity) - **Number of Beds:** 16 - **Staffing:** RNs only — no HUC or PCT support - **Equipment Utilized:** - Ventilators - Telemetry - Baxter IV Pumps - IABP - CRRT - Impella - Hypothermia equipment - **Documentation System:** Cerner **What We’re Looking For:** - **Required Skills:** - Titration of Vesicant Medications - Familiarity with Pressors - Sedation and Paralytics - Experience with Vents and Trachs - Telemetry Interpretation - Understanding of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter set up and interpretation - **Advanced Skills:** - IABP, Impella, CRRT appreciated - **Procedures Performed:** - Cardioversion - Central Line Insertion - EGD - Bronchoscopy - Chest Tube Insertion - Pericardiocentesis - Thoracentesis **Dress Code:** - All Navy or Navy and White scrubs only - No pullovers, hoodies, or green scrubs (except when soiled) **Experience Required:** - Minimum of 2 years in the ICU **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
