Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 2+ years of telemetry experience and ACLS certification.

Details

• Blended cardiovascular unit with 18 CVICU beds and 12 CVIMCU beds
• Cares for patients 16 years and older with primary cardiac diagnoses including heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, and cardiothoracic surgery
• Manages patients undergoing CABG, valve repair/replacement, VATS/thoracotomy, IABP therapy, Impella insertion, post PCI, pacemaker insertion, ablation, arrhythmia, STEMI/NSTEMI, and EKOS
• Constant floating required between CVCU, ICU, and PCU divisions
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 16-week assignment length with potential for extension

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact)
• Active OR RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Strong cardiovascular experience required
