Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CVICU position requiring an OH or compact RN license and 18 months of recent CVICU experience.

Details

• CVICU unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for, preferably within one location
• 18 months of recent CVICU experience required; travel experience accepted
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both
• PBDS assessment is waived
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Nurses are exempt from the nicotine-free facility requirement
