Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring at least 18 months of CVICU experience and active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Work in the CVICU of a large academic hospital system
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts only)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state license currently in hand
• Active certifications required (no pending accepted): BLS and ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross), and NIHSS
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the CVICU specialty required; travel experience may be substituted
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the CVICU specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required for consideration (co-worker references are not accepted)
• A copy of your Driver's License and Social Security Card are required for consideration
• No open background case or license hits will be accepted
• Candidates must be nicotine-free (this requirement is waived for nurses)

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted
• Travelers may not have worked as a permanent or per diem employee at a Cleveland Clinic facility within the last year
• Must work at least every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score is required (maximum of 2 attempts)
• Pre-start modules are required and typically take 6–15 hours to complete

• All RTO requests must be disclosed prior to acceptance of the position
