Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a CVICU night shift position requiring 12 months of permanent specialty experience and an active Ohio or compact license.

Details

• Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active RN license, Ohio or compact, in hand at time of consideration
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and active at time of consideration
• Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in CVICU or applicable specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from within the past 12 months
• No pending certifications accepted

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to two attempts to pass
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Nicotine-free policy in effect, though nurses are currently exempt
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Background check hits are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but open cases are not accepted
• No license hits accepted
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
