Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 2+ years of CVICU experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Intensive Care Coronary unit of a hospital setting
  • 3x12hr night shifts, 1900-0730
  • Weekend shifts required
  • No on-call requirements
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
  • Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

  • Active RN license, single state or CO/compact required
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA, must not expire prior to start)
  • 2+ years of CVICU experience required
  • ASN required, BSN preferred
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per accepted practice standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill cardiovascular patients
  • Perform health teaching, counseling, and provide supportive and restorative therapy
  • Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
  • Background check and drug screening required prior to start, with results expected within a firm timeline
