Your Role

As a CVICU RN, you'll provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients while collaborating closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitoring changes in health status.
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care plans.
• Providing nursing interventions, therapies, and treatments appropriate to patient needs.
• Monitoring treatment plans and evaluating patient responses.
• Providing patient and family education and health counseling.
• Recognizing changes in patient condition and initiating appropriate interventions or referrals.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Performing delegated medical functions within your scope of practice.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promoting safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Floating to other departments when needed, within your qualifications and competency.

✅ Requirements

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• ASN/Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license in the state of practice
• BLS – American Heart Association
• ACLS
• NIH/NIHSS

Preferred:

• BSN
• Previous CVICU/Critical Care experience
