• Patient Ratios & Unit Info:
  • 22 beds
  • Patient Ratio: 1:2
  • Patient Types: Sepsis, respiratory (pneumonia, COVID, ARDS, etc.), post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal failure, liver failure, pancreatitis, overdose, suicidal ideations, CIWA
• Equipment Used:
  • Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun
• EMR:
  • EPIC
• Floating Information & On-Call:
  • Floating: May be floated to other stepdown units depending on staffing needs
  • Weekends: As required by facility / every other weekend
