Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) Open Heart professional in a high-volume healthcare setting. This role involves providing experienced circulator services for complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures within a dedicated Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) service line. The candidate must be capable of functioning independently in a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting a range of procedures including coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, and endovascular interventions.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Saturday and Sunday from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with an additional weekday shift (Monday or Tuesday) based on departmental needs.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR circulator in a high-volume hospital setting, with demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Must provide verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed. Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with a CVOR team in complex cardiac and thoracic procedures and demonstrating proficiency across the full scope of CVOR duties.
Additional Information: Candidates must possess a valid nursing license, verified through the appropriate licensing board, and an active professional profile. Submission of the Ascension Skills Checklist and professional references is required.
