Certifications: BLS required
Education Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in Operating Room (OR) open heart surgery
Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Open Heart
Location: Portland, OR
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Experience requirement: 2 years
Additional qualifications: Prior scrub experience in cardiac surgery preferred; strong preference for candidates with a minimum of 1-year experience in cardiac OR settings
Responsibilities include responding to cardiac emergencies, maintaining sterile procedures, scrubbing and circulating during cardiac surgeries, and responding to emergency situations in the cardiovascular operating room
Must have a valid state license; compact license preferred and must be in hand at submission
Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment
Candidates should be available to work one weekend per month and be flexible to float between units as needed
Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an interview arranged by the assigned account manager
References: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, prior to start
Travel experience is required
Floating: Float rotation may be required
