Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse in Jacksonville, FL. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care to patients undergoing open heart surgeries within a general hospital setting. The role focuses on supporting cardiac procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical experiences.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 1 year of experience in operating room or open heart procedures, and current credentials in Florida
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification in perioperative nursing or specialized cardiac nursing experience, additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) are a plus
  • Additional Information: The role requires adherence to hospital protocols, SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), and clinical best practices to support complex cardiac surgeries. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
